Worst experience I have ever had in a car dealership! Do not buy here if you want to trust the people you do business with.
I wanted a manual, Elantra N. There was only one within five hundred miles of Tuscaloosa. David C. got me the car, gave me an excellent trade-in allowance, and I drove away in my new Hyundai, completely satisfied. Barry B.and Brooke M. are wonderful, quality people. They have an exceptional style of doing business that makes this dealership stand out. My adult child bought a brand new Hyundai and took the car to be serviced at this dealership. I was seriously looking into buying a Hyundai because of how pleased my child was with the vehicle. Because of the treatment by the service manager and his condescending and unprofessional attitude, I will NOT be buying a Hyundai, as I had originally thought of doing. He refuses to accept the warranty on the car and has been informing my adult child the service will have to be out of pocket and nothing can be done until lpermission is granted --- despite the warranty on the vehicle. Due to his lack of respect and sense of entitlement where he feels he has the right to treat customers any kind of way and deny the warranty, I don't want to deal with any Hyundai dealerships. Obviously, the company is not standing by their product and allow their service department to set their own rules. This is unacceptable!! After reading the reviews, this has been his normal practice when dealing with customers with warranties. My question is do the warranty plan really not get covered or is he having customers pay and then getting the warranty money later and pocketing it for himself. That's the only reason I can see this service manager not wanting to honor the warranty with the customer and telling the customer to deal with that issue later. Whether the vehicle is being covered by warranty or being paid by the customer, the dealership is still getting their money. Or am I missing some pertinent information that could make a difference in my feelings for the Hyundai products you have on your lot? If the service manager is an example of how your other dealership and service departments are, this is truly not the expected service I am looking for.
They have now had my car for 6 days I don't know what's wrong with my car no one bothers to call me about my car no one has told me when I'm going to get my car back they're holding my car hostage.
Unfortunately I had to select at least one star! I gave them $3000 after supposedly fixing my car to now I am starting legal proceedings against them because they are refusing to correct the mistake that they clearly made which caused my engine to lock up
I took my car in to be serviced. I had an appointment and it still took 3 and half hours. Then they didn’t reset the service light or put on the valve stem caps. I went back in to be refunded for the labor since they didn’t finish the work. The manager, David Clements refused and followed me to my car and put his hand hand on my door to prevent me from closing it. I called and complained and the manager of the dealership Brooke meissner called me essentially to tell me she wasn’t going to help me. This Hyundai is terrible. Go to Hoover!!
My visit at this dealership was enjoyable, everyone was nice and very helpful. I purchased a 2023 that had been the dealership's loaner vehicle. Everyone was super helpful and nice. Jeremy worked hard for me to get the deal I needed to have, so I am driving around in my new Tucson and enjoying it so much. It drives like a dream
If I could give negative stars I would. First off, the new car I was looking to buy was dead when we went to test drive it. They told us to come back and it would be running. We went back three days later, still dead. They jump it off. We test drive it. Turn it off. Go to crank it up again dead again. They gave us a new battery and we thought ok things will be ok. Wrong. They messed up paying off my car that I traded in so today I had to make payment on the car that is sitting on their lot being sold. Now in two more weeks I get to pay for my new car. They don't care whatsoever!! The car they bought from me has multiple bent rims!! They didn't even check them!! They have that car priced at $29,000 and has bent rims . They talk a lot about quality but in the two cars that I know about on that lot, one was dead and the other is gonna have to have new rims. I let them know about those rims and the lady said "well the customer will surely see they are bent". No you can't!!! That statement comes from a person in the car industry? Beware of this place. I hate to think of the poor person that buys my red 2020 Honda Accord that is on their lot right now that. They are gonna have to spend so much money and this company knows and will still claim they care about their customers and quality.
Paid down payment to hold car and then two months later when it came. Went to buy car and do trade in. Was not even offered what kelly blue book had my trade in for. Totally low balled. Manager did not even speak to me or my husband. Then I was told someone was allready looking at the car. Great customer service. They do not care about the customer at all. Will not be back if you want a Hyundia go somewhere else to buy not Tuscaloosa.

Started my search on the internet and found exactly what I was looking for with the help of the internet manager. The employees were straight forward when answering my questions. The atmosphere of the dealership was very friendly and upbeat. I came in ready to purchase. They had everything ready for me when I got there. Everything was exactly what I expected. Excellent experience! We had to wait about three weeks for delivery of our vehicle, since AWD apparently is not commonly found in our area. However, this caused us no problem.

I have been looking for a second car for about a year now. Since I already have a car i havent been in a hurry to purchase one and just looking around everywhere. I went to Serra to look at a used Sonta and it was the worst experience ever. The sells person didnt act interested in helping me, drove out to look a used car that was on the internet to find out it wasnt for sell any more. I almost felt like since i wasnt looking for a new car but a used one around 10 k that didnt care to help me. After that experience i told my self i wouldnt buy a Hyundai. About 6 months later i decide to give the Tuscaloosa dealership a try even tho it was a hour half away. I am gald i did everyone was so nice. David the sellsmen even arrange a ride for me in Birmingham so i didnt have to worry about how to get teo vehicles home... The dealership was very clean and just felt comfortable and that lead me to just buying a new car instead of a used one..

I was so very excited to purchase my first car. I knew what I was looking for and the salesman did not try to talk me into something else. He was nice and understanding of my financial limitations and he was overall professional. The dealership did an excellent job meeting my expectations. I bought the vehicle over the phone and paid for it with a wire transfer. They made me feel at ease about the wire transfer and when I arrived they had everything ready to go. Paperwork was completed except for the need signatures and the car was cleaned and fueled. I toured the service department and dealership. I was on a tight schedule and them accommodate my needs.
I am happy with the purchase of my car. My sales rep was patient with my choices and me changing my mind. They were fast and efficient with the process from the beginning to end. I do not have any complaints with how every gig was handled. Signing was also fast.
